One again, I have been swamped with work, and was not able to build anything from the pieces of the box I bought earlier. As a result, this page has not been updated for more than a week, which is in complete contradiction with the project I initially wanted. Anyway, I have been giving this quite a lot of thinking, and what appears to be the better solution is the following: while I will continue to put £10 in my piggy bank every on Mondays, I will not try to rush things up to buy a new box each week. This way, I will have more time to build and will buy bigger sets...
This settled, I would like to show here the pictures of a small ship I have managed to create using the bricks from the box. I am happy with it, as the result pretty much matches the sketches I have been making for it during the week. As I said it before, I was particularly fond of the strips of the original model, and I had a lot of fun trying to make some of my own. The rear of the ship, with the engines, is not really perfect, and I imagined it a little messier —with grey cables and odd antennas— but I had nothing to do the trick... Enjoy the pictures!
I hope the new system I am setting up will help me build with a quieter state of mind.
Time will tell!
